GURGAON: A man allegedly killed his wife and four children before attempting suicide in Wazirpur village late on Saturday night. The accused, believed to be in his 30s and working at a salon, is undergoing treatment at a local government hospital. Police said he poisoned his family members and then tried to slit his wrists and neck. According to police, a PCR call was received around 9:30 pm informing that a man, his wife and four children were found dead inside a house in Wazirpur village. The incident is suspected to have taken place between 9 pm and 10 pm. Senior police officers, along with forensic and crime teams, rushed to the spot and inspected the scene. The bodies have been shifted to the mortuary for post-mortem examination, and the relatives of the deceased have been informed. Police said the accused is currently unfit for questioning. “He is undergoing treatment and will be examined once doctors declare him stable,” an officer said. Investigators are probing the motive behind the killings, including possible domestic or financial distress. Further action will be taken based on the accused’s statement and post-mortem findings.
