Pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau turned the biggest music festival – Coachella- into their own romantic date night. The couple, who has been making waves with their appearances around town, hit the event together. Twinning in white tees, the two were seen keeping their look rather casual as they attended the event along with a host of other fans. Photos and videos from the event saw the two sharing some affectionate moments on the grounds. When not holding hands and cuddling during the live performances, the two were seen grabbing a bite together and even taking a seat in a reserved area to have a drink. Perry also offered fans a glimpse into their evening via Instagram, posting a handful of images and captioned it as “heat checkin’ these chickens.” She also shared photos of herself with Trudeau, staying close throughout the night. The duo were also in attendance at Justin Bieber’s headlining performance, where Perry joked about the singer’s YouTube-style set. Reacting to Justin opening up a YouTube tab on the big screen, she joked in a clip, “Thank God he has Premium … I don’t wanna see no ads.”Perry and Trudeau, who have reportedly been dating since mid-2025, have had no qualms showing off some PDA online. Although the couple has largely kept their romance private, they have been sharing romantic photos and video from their holidays and trips together. Trudeau and Perry hit the headlines recently when the politician’s son Xav opened up about his equation with the singer. He shared that when he is looking for advice on his music, he’s able to go to his dad’s girlfriend. “When I’m really happy with a song [I] send it [to her],” Xav said on an episode of the Can’t Be Censored podcast. “She’s always happy to give me advice or tell me what I should change.” Going on to gush about the singer, he shared, “She’s super nice. She’s super down to earth. She’s great. I think that my dad’s happy, so that’s important.”
