MUMBAI: The Maharashtra State Council of Examinations (MSCE) has postponed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026, which was scheduled to be held on Sunday, following a suspected question paper leak from Bhiwandi.According to an official notification issued by MSCE, the decision was taken after the council received confidential information regarding a possible leak.Acting on the input, Bhiwandi police conducted a raid at a location where some people were allegedly found in possession of material related to the examination.MSCE officials later confirmed that some of the recovered documents matched the content of the TET question paper, raising concerns over the integrity of the examination.Following the development, the council decided to postpone the June 28 exam. A fresh date for the TET will be announced later.Candidates have been advised to wait for official updates from the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations.
