The short exchange has since gone viral on social media, with many fans sharing the clip.Suryakumar has not been part of India’s squad for the England series after the selectors appointed Shreyas Iyer as the new T20I captain. Chief selector Ajit Agarkar had said the decision was based on form and the team’s long-term plans.His omission has remained one of the biggest talking points of India’s T20I setup, with many fans believing the middle order has missed his experience and batting. Suryakumar played a key role in India’s T20 World Cup-winning campaign and is regarded as one of the leading batters in the format.Despite missing out on selection, the 35-year-old has stayed away from any controversy. Before the tour, he wished the Indian team well and has continued to back the side publicly. His latest response also suggested he is taking the situation in his stride while focusing on domestic cricket and future opportunities.Meanwhile, India posted 190 for seven in the second T20I against England on Saturday after opting to bat first.The match also marked the international debut of 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who became India’s youngest international cricketer at 15 years and 99 days, breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s long-standing record. His first innings ended with 14 runs off 10 balls, including two sixes.Opening partner Abhishek Sharma gave India a fast start with 43 off 24 balls. Ishan Kishan made 49 off 40 deliveries, while captain Shreyas Iyer scored 37 off 22. The pair added 65 runs for the third wicket before Tilak Varma’s unbeaten 24 off 11 balls helped India finish with a competitive total.England left-arm pacer Sam Curran was the pick of the bowlers with figures of three for 33. England defeated India by four wickets, riding on an unbeaten 76 from Jacob Bethell to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20I series.
