JALANDHAR: A blast took place in a scooter parked just outside the BSF Punjab Frontiers headquarters in Jalandhar around 8pm on Tuesday, injuring the vehicle’s owner.The nature of the blast was not yet clear and police were questioning the injured youth, Gurpreet Singh, who works with a courier firm.His father Kashmir Singh, who retired from BSF, said: “Gurpreet delivers parcels to BSF and Army only. He called me up, saying he had just left the scooter when a blast took place. He felt someone had thrown a bomb. He was taken away by police, and I could not speak to him.”Police commissioner Dhanpreet Kaur said they were investigating the nature of the blast.
