RBI Assistant Result 2026: The Reserve Bank of India has declared the RBI Assistant Result 2026 for the preliminary examination conducted on April 11, 13 and 30. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment examination can now access the result PDF through the official RBI website and check their qualifying status using their roll numbers.The result, released on May 25, includes the roll numbers of candidates provisionally shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment process. The online preliminary examination was conducted for recruitment to the post of Assistant under Panel Year 2025. Candidates who have qualified in the prelims examination will now appear for the online mains examination scheduled for June 07.Mains examination details announcedRBI stated that the online mains examination will be conducted only for candidates shortlisted on the basis of their preliminary examination performance. Separate call letters for the mains examination will be made available on the RBI website shortly. The call letters will carry details related to examination timing and venue. The central bank also confirmed that the information handout and instructions for candidates requiring a scribe, compensatory time, or other assistance due to physical limitations will be uploaded on the official portal.Result PDF carries shortlisted roll numbersThe RBI Assistant Result 2026 has been released in PDF format. Candidates are required to download the document and use the search function to locate their roll numbers in the list of shortlisted candidates. The result PDF contains details including roll numbers, category information, marks and qualification status.Candidates can access the result by visiting the RBI opportunities portal, selecting the result section and opening the link related to the preliminary examination conducted for Assistant recruitment. After opening the shortlisted candidates’ PDF, applicants can search their roll number using the Ctrl+F option.Further stages in recruitment processCandidates qualifying in the mains examination will proceed to the Language Proficiency Test, which is the final stage of the selection process. RBI has also stated that category-wise and region-wise cut-offs along with individual marksheets will be released separately in an interactive format on the official website.The bank further clarified that RTI queries regarding category-wise cut-offs, total shortlisted candidates and examination-related data will be entertained only after completion of the entire recruitment process and declaration of final results.
