Rohtak: Garvika Singh, a class X CBSE student, achieved an exceptional academic milestone by scoring 99.8% in her board examinations, surpassing her own expectations and emerging as one of the top performers.The 15-year-old student secured a perfect 100/100 in Mathematics, English, Information Technology, Hindi, and Social Science, while scoring 99 marks in Science. The results, declared recently by the CBSE Board, came as a pleasant surprise to her.Speaking to The Times of India, Garvika shared that she had aimed for around 99%, but exceeding her target made the achievement even more special. “I was hoping to score 99%, but achieving more than that has made the result truly memorable. This would not have been possible without the constant support of my parents and the guidance of my teachers,” she said.Garvika comes from an academically inclined family. Her father, Yudhvir Singh, is a professor in the University Institute of Technology (UIT) at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, while her mother, Prabha Rani, is a Physics teacher in the state education department.Highlighting her disciplined approach, Garvika noted that she has consciously stayed away from social media and does not maintain any accounts on such platforms. Looking ahead, she aspires to pursue engineering and aims to crack the prestigious IIT entrance examinations after completing her senior secondary education.Her mother, Prabha Rani, expressed pride in her daughter’s consistent academic excellence, stating that Garvika has been a topper since her nursery classes.
