Chennai Super Kings batter Sanju Samson struck his fifth Indian Premier League (IPL) century on Thursday during his team’s IPL 2026 match vs Mumbai Indians on Thursday at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. Sanju Samson completed his century on the last ball of the innings with a four off Krish Bhagat’s bowl. That was his second century of the season, his second for CSK and his fifth in the IPL history. Samson’s century was the first individual century by a CSK batter against MI in IPL. In the process, Samson joined Rohit Sharma at number two in the list of most centuries in T20s among Indians.
