Lucknow: Run for underprivileged students by social welfare department, Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Schools, produced a stellar performance in UP Board results. 99.2% of students who appeared for Class X exams and 99% Class XII students were declared successful. Students of Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Balika Vidyalaya, Nidauri in Ghaziabad showed outstanding performance too. In Class XII science stream, Anjali Pundir secured 88.2% marks and ranked fourth in the district, while Anshika secured 87.4% marks and obtained sixth position.In academic year 2025-26, 2,457 students from Sarvodaya schools appeared for Class X examination, of which 2,437 were declared successful. Among the top performers were Ujala Nishad from Saidpur Balika Vidyalaya, Ghazipur who secured 94.33%, Anushka Tripathi from Kaudihar, Prayagraj scored 93.16%, Pawan Kumar from Hardauli, Banda secured 92.67%, Adarsh Kumar from Raya, Bhadohi scored 92.66%, and Sunil Kumar from Naugarh, Chandauli secured 92.50% marks.In Class XII science stream, a total of 1,058 students appeared and 1,046 passed. In science stream, Anjali Pundir from Nidauri, Ghaziabad scored 88.2%, Deepak Singh from Khaga, Khasmau, Fatehpur secured 88%, Anshika from Nidauri, Ghaziabad scored 87.4%, Manshu from Kaudihar, Prayagraj secured 86.2%, and Vikas Yadav from Mehrona, Deoria scored 85.6%.In arts stream, 801 students appeared and 795 were successful. In arts, Radhika from Dhaulagarh, Bijnor secured 86.8%, Suman Bharti from Sirsiya Hetimpur, Kushinagar scored 86.2%, Shalu from Gauriganj, Amethi secured 85.2%, while Komal and Gayatri from Bijnor secured 84.8% marks.Officials of social welfare department said under Yogi govt, smart classes, trained teachers, books, better laboratories and safe environment are being provided in Sarvodaya schools and better resources, quality education and disciplined environment have led to remarkable results.
