The family of Giribala Singh’s daughter-in-law Twisha Singh had moved the high court seeking cancellation of anticipatory bail granted to the retired judge by a Bhopal sessions court.
BHOPAL: Petition for cancellation of anticipatory bail of retired district judge Giribala Singh, an accused in alleged dowry death case of her daughter-in-law, will come up before the vacation bench of Madhya Pradesh high court on Monday afternoon.The family of Giribala Singh’s daughter-in-law Twisha Singh had moved the high court seeking cancellation of anticipatory bail granted to the retired judge by a Bhopal sessions court. Giribala Singh is likely to argue her own case in the high court.However, his counsel Enosh George Carlo is also present in the high court and has presented ‘vakalatnama’ on her behalf. There were reports in a section of media that he has withdrawn from the case but he denied the reports.
