Amid ongoing Middle East crisis, Venezuela’s acting president Delcy Rodriguez will undertake a five-day visit to India beginning June 3, with talks expected to focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas such as energy, trade and technology. Announcing the visit, external affairs ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said Rodriguez is scheduled to hold wide-ranging discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during her stay. Rodriguez will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising several ministers, including the ministers of foreign affairs, economy and finance, science and technology, communication and information, and transportation, Jaiswal said. The visit, which will continue till June 7, is aimed at further boosting India-Venezuela ties across key sectors
