CHENNAI: TVK president Vijay on Friday carried out a door-to-door campaign in Perambur, one of the two constituencies he is contesting in the 2026 assembly elections.The campaign was held at Jawahar Street in Bharathi Nagar, located next to the party’s election office. Vijay met residents, sought details of local issues and said these would be addressed if the party forms the government after the April 23 assembly election.Before the outreach, he held a meeting with party workers at the office to review election-related work.He also drew the party’s ‘whistle’ symbol as a kolam in front of the election office. On Thursday, he asked women voters to draw the kolam to show support for the party.
