After sustained interrogation, officials concluded that the papers were fake, leading to her arrest.During checks, immigration supervising officer Hina Tomar allegedly found digital copies of an Indian voter ID, Aadhaar and PAN card on her phone. Sources said the voter ID carried the name Karuna Rupni Devi Dasi. She allegedly claimed to be married to an Indian national, Mitralal Khanal, and told officials that she operated an online clothing business in India and received rental income.According to the FIR, she allegedly admitted during questioning that Indian documents had been prepared using a changed name and address. She was subsequently handed over to Sonauli police for legal action.Police registered FIR on Monday under Sections 319(2), 336(3), 338 and 340(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
